Have you ever fallen in love with a store? I love shopping, so I have lots of favorite stores. But my favorite garden and plant store has got to be City Escape. It’s not in the easiest place to get to with out a car but totally worth the trip. Today I bought a stevia plant. You know… that natural sweetener that’s all the rage right now.

This store is the most organized and best laid out store of this sort in Chicago and it’s huge. The succulents are all lined up. All ferns are grouped. All the palms are together. Plus the prices are not bad. Of course it is not like shopping at Home Depot. No one can beat those prices, but let’s be honest. The plants are crap there unless you grab one as they are getting unloaded from the truck from which they came. So go check the place out. You will not be disappointed. I promise.
