Back to Basics is an informative class learning all things flowers to restart your floral design journey and go back to the “what to know”. After, perhaps, taking multiple classes from us over the years….its best to go back and start with the basic knowledge of flowers and floral design. From shopping for flowers, choosing the right combinations of flowers and vases, tools and mechanics, philosophy and ultimately design. We will shop for flowers and containers to get in the head of master florist Mike Hines, your class leader. Throughout the morning we will not only shop and choose your blooms but we will also design two arrangements. Hines will lead you step by step in designing as well as talking his philosophy and design directives. This is a class for everyone. No matter your level of floral design. It’s always good to restart, reboot and refresh.
