THE 3 ELEMENT DESIGN: Calla lily, Spirea and Grape wood
THE 3 ELEMENT DESIGN: SIMPLY MODERN
In this masterclass, you will learn the technique of using grape wood as your base and how to add calla lily and spirea to create an impactful and simple floral design. Using just 3 elements: calla lily, spirea and grape wood, you’ll take an easy approach to floral design as if you were a professional floral designer. Here I used 30 calla lily, several spirea stems and an 18” grape wood branch. Use your favorite vase, grab some flowers and let’s design, together.
THE 4 ELEMENT DESIGN: Banksia, Spirea, Veg Rose and Grape wood
THE 4 ELEMENT DESIGN: TEXTURE GREEN
5 banksia stems, 15 roses, several spirea and an 18” grape wood branch.
Adding to your collection of floral design ideas, this masterclass will take you through the steps to create a design using only 4 elements: Banksia, Spirea, Roses and Grape wood. Of course you can substitute flowers (see end of video). This technique is called “Clustering” using the freshest flowers, a monotone palette and blooms with texture. Mike Hines/Epoch Floral, master florist, is your host for this class. Texture plays a key role in this design. From sturdy blooms to delicate foliage and all the ingredients between….a design using only 4 elements can be very, very impactful. Enjoy
THE 5 ELEMENT DESIGN: Viburnum, Spray Rose, Calla Lily, Hellebore, Ranunculus
THE 5 ELEMENT DESIGN: Viburnum, Spray Rose, Calla Lily, Hellebore and Ranunculus (10 stems of each = 50 stems total)
Using a low vase (not clear) we will design a lush floral arrangement using the seasons best blooms. No leafy filler required. Just beautiful blooms in shades of pink with a pop of chartreuse will be your ingredients for this gorgeous design. Reminder to always hydrate your flowers and get them ready for design prior to designing. This insures longevity especially if the flowers are at their freshest.
THE 2 ELEMENT DESIGN : Parrot Tulips and Bird’s Nest Fern
THE 2 ELEMENT DESIGN: TULIPS EN MASSE
This design will become your go to floral design as you learn the steps it takes to create something beautiful and lush using only 2 floral varieties: tulips and birds nest fern. The technique is simple and the result is spectacular. Grab a bowl, 50 tulips and your favorite leaves or branches……let’s design.
