SIMPLISTIC/NATURALISTIC: a floral design class
October 3, 2026 : 10:00am-11:30pm
Location: Epoch Floral, 430 N Wolcott Ave, Chicago, IL
Join master florist, Mike Hines for this fun and informative floral design class focusing on the simplicity of a flower and the naturalistic look of the design. Using the seasons best flowers, Hines will take you step by step as he shares his tricks and techniques on how to create a design that feels both naturalistic and bold. There’s not a lot of flower fuss in this class, rather, we will use flowers significant to the season that complement each other and have a feeling of being fresh picked. Think two to three floral elements and a timeless design. Again, the focus on simplicity, nothing over complicated, yet impactful.
The Get:
all flowers and vases are provided
tools needed for designing are provided (ie: clippers)
take home your finished design
approx 1.5hrs of hands on design time
bottled water to wet your whistle
come to learn something new and have fun.
